Be careful about the path
FreeBSD 5.4R has its own BIND 9.3.1 with different default paths
be sure to use the version you built in this workshop
/usr/local/sbin/named
/usr/local/sbin/rndc
always specify the path to named-checkconf
e.g. named-checkconf -c /etc/named.conf
